Nazar bhai is the artisan working with leather and it has been in his family since 7 generations. The leather craft of Kutch has a long history filled with skilled craftsmanship from making pouches to store water to footwear, wallets, bags and many more.

The leather used in earlier times was organic leather but now the leather used is chemically processed. Colorful fabrics and threads are also used to create vibrant borders and patterns, a process called torni.
